Biography

Richard, son of Abraham Gale and Sarah Fiske, was born on 25 Sep 1677 at Watertown, Middlesex County, MA.^[1][2] He may have died before 1728 at Canterbury CT when son Jonathan age 19 was called "the only son of a widowed mother."

Richard married Sarah Knight, on 7 Jan 1705/6 at Watertown, Middlesex, MA.^[3] They were parents of:

• Sarah, b. 30 Nov 1706, m. Josiah Pierce^[4]
• Jonathan, b. 26 Nov 1708^[4]. Norwich vital records list Mercy and Sarah (dob differs from Canterbury record).^[5]
