She married Charles Todd, the son of Gideon Todd and Thankful Ives, on 16 Aug 1764 at New Haven, New Haven Co, CT. They had four children: Rhoda on 20 Jun 1765, Charles Jr on 12 Oct 1767, Amos on 15 Oct 1769 and Daniel 23 Sep 1771. Her husband and their son Charles both died on 15 Jun 1772 in the Long Island Sound.
She married David Hotchkiss, the son of Gideon Hotchkiss and Anna Brockett, and the widower of Abigail Douglass, on 05 Jul 1775, at Waterbury, New Haven Co, CT. In addition to her three remaining children she had with Charles Todd and the six children from David's first marriage, David and Peninah had four children together: Charles Todd Hotchkiss 24 Jun 1776, Abigail 25 Apr 1778, Gilead 12 Oct 1780 and Peninah 01 Feb 1782.
David and Peninah were the founders of Windsor, Broome Co, NY.
Peninah died on 11 May 1817 in Windsor, Broome Co, NY, aged 76 Years 9 Months 6 Days.
