Her father Charles Estienne Houdlette was born on January 2 1707, in Pont-a’-Vers, Picardie, France. Her mother Marie Louise /Marie Madeleine Gallois (Gul wahe) was born on January 4 1707, in Mannheim, Mannheim, Baden-Wuerttemberg, Germany.

She had 7 siblings: Martha, Mary Marie, Louis, Jane, Mary, Dorothy and Ann Catherine.
