Biography

Abner Dwelly was born on 6 March 1733 in Scituate, Massachusetts, to Jedediah (Jedidia) Dwelly and his wife Eliza[beth].[1][2]


In 1743, his mother was appointed his guardian.[3]

In 1746, Benjamin House of Scituate was appointed to be his guardian.[4]

In 1749, he is mentioned in his sister, Deborah Dwelly's estate distribution.[5]

In 1752, above the age of 14 years, Abner made the choice of Benjamin House of Scituate to be his guardian.[6]

In 1753, above the age of 14, Abner made the choice of his brother-in-law, Samuel Clapp to be his guardian.[7]
