Biography
Easther GALPIN was born in Connecticut to John Galpin and Mary Morgan and married Jonathan BOOTH on 11 Aug 1703 in Rye, New York. Hester was born about 1682. She passed away in 1731.

This Esther Galpin has been mixed up with her first cousin Esther Galpin born in 1678 to Samuel Galpin and Esther Thompson. Both were born in similar times. However due to deeds this can be proven.

According to "History and Genealogy of the Families of Old Fairfield" by Jacobus, it was Hester, the daughter of John (brother of Samuel) that married Jonathan Booth.

And Esther, daughter of Samuel and Esther Galpin, died young. (Jacobus, FoOF, Vol. 1, pp. 214 and 215.), perhaps soon after her mother Since no action has resulted from Cathy's correct comment, and Jacobus is a very reliable source, I recommend that a new profile for Hester be created, daughter of John Galpin and Mary Morgan, and the life facts and connections to Jonathan Booth and their descendants be moved to that new profile. If no one else takes care of that, I'll do it next Wednesday, unless someone shows that to be erroneous.
