Mary "Polly" Weissenburg Johnson was born about 1743, the daughter of William Henry Johnson (1st Baronet of New York) and Catherine Weissenburg, in the New York Colony where she was most likely raised.
On March 1, 1763, Polly married Colonel Guy Johnson and they had two daughters:
Julia Johnson
Mary (Johnson) Campbell
Mary wed Sir Colin Campbell (later Field Marshal Lord Clyde, queller of the East India Mutiny). Their son was Gen. Sir Guy Campbell.
She died in July 1775 at Fort Ontario, Oswego, New York.
