Hi! I "unlocked" this profile (removed PPP) after review by the US Southern Colonies Project's Managed Profiles Team. PPP stands for "project-protected profile" and must be supported by a project as manager. The team does not believe that the profile needs to be either PPP or managed by a project (so the project box was changed to a sticker). If you would like the team to reconsider, please fill out the Management Request Form (see the link, here).
Also, you have not been active in WikiTree for several years. One of the reasons for a profile having a manager is so that people know who to contact about the profile. This means managers need to be active & inactive managers removed. Please post a reply to this comment before Sunday, 9 May, if you are still active in WikiTree and would like to remain a manager of this profile. If I don't hear from you by then, I will orphan the profile (removing you as manager, but you'll still be on the the trusted list). Thanks!
I believe Jacob should be listed as the son of Daniel Hollifield who lived in Chester County, SC. In this record, he is 5 years older than his father, William Orson Hollifield, which was mentioned in another comment. And I do not believe that William Orson Hollifield's father Ralph was Jacob's father, as he was never in Chester County, SC. I believe Jacob's father may have been the brother of Ralph (and uncle to William Orson), Daniel Hollifield.
