Andrew Beardsley Sr. is a descendant of the immigrants William Beardsley and Mary Harvie.

Biography

Andrew Beardsley was born at Stratford, Connecticut, 8 March 1707/8; married, Sarah Porter, born 26 February 1712/3; died prior to 1747 (when her father’s will was proved), daughter of Obadiah and Mary (Titherton) Porter.

His estate was probated, 1758, and divided among his heirs, Andrew, Henry, Comfort, and legal representatives of Ann Dayton, deceased. All his children were baptised at Christ Church, Stratford. [Holt]

His inventory was taken on 4 April 1758 and recorded at Fairfield.^[1]

The estate distribution was recorded on 4 April 1758.^[2]
