Daughter Joseph & Deborah Lewis.
Married 1. John Hemenger (1761-1802). The marriage was performed by the Rev. Park Allyn. Their child was Polly Hemenger, wife of Stoddard Carnahan/Cannon. Mary Lewis Hemenger then married Samuel Carnahan/Cannon, the father of Stoddard. She was therefore, both Stoddard's mother-in-law and step-mother
She appears as Mary Cannoon in 1855 NY State Census in Hanover, Chautauqua, NY with her daughter Orrilla & family. Also states she has lived in this town for 2 years ~1853
The Revolutionary War Pension file for John Heminger [sic] states the marriage date to Samuel Cannon as 20 March 1811.
Mary was born in 1768. She passed away in 1858.
