Biography

James was born in 1786. He is the son of Benjamin Bond and Miriam Manter. He passed away in 1852.

In 1820, James, along with his two younger brothers Lucius Bond and Benjamin Bond, settled in Springfield Township, Erie County, Pennsylvania. [1]

Note: POB is uncertain. Birth record lists Conway but other source list Ashfield, which is where his mother was from. Maybe she went to stay with her parents in Ashfield and had the baby there?
