Abigail Tomson was born in Middleborough, Massachusetts, on February 4, 1696-7, the daughter of Jacob Tomson and Abigail Wadsworth.[1]
Abigail Tomson, a "Singlewoman" of Middleborough, is noted for her complaint before the June 1721 session of the Court of General Sessions of the Peace in Plymouth. In the session, she accused Jonathan Inglee, a Middleborough cooper, of being the father of her illegitimate child, Moses Inglee.
Abigail (Thompson) Packard died in West Bridgewater, Massachusetts, on May 19, 1786, "in ye 90th Year of her Age." She was buried at the Old Graveyard in West Bridgewater, where her gravestone reads:

Correct spelling for this surname IS Tomson. The addition of the "h" and "p" came much later in the lineage.
