Since the father died just after the birth of the youngest daughter, I'm guessing that the boys were apprenticed to the Shermans or Haskins or perhaps were taken in by them because the mother couldn't provide for all 5 children. She may have kept the girls with her... I'm not sure about his first name.
There's a WT suggestion that 'Ensign' should be moved to prefix. I think It's actually his first name but I haven't been able to document it. Do you have anything showing it?
