Biography

Descendants provided Keith the detailed list of Jacob's children but failed to mention daughter Susan who is named in the will.[1]


8 Nov 1814 - License is issued for the marriage of Sally Jones and Jacob Broyles. Security by John Kindle.[2]

7 Feb 1872 - Jacob writes his will. Greene Co., Tenn. The will mentions the following children: daughter Susan's child Ann, John S. Broyles, George J. Broyles and his sons Samuel, Edmund, William, and Charles. Children to share and share alike. Executors: sons O.M. and L.H. Broyles. Witnessed by Charles S. Earnest and David B. Harrison.[3] The will was probated at March court.
