Biography

Margaret Owen was a daughter of Thomas Owen and Sara Baskerville.[1][2][3]

'Margarett' Owen was baptised on 04 Mar 1575/1576 at St Michael, Bassishaw, City of London, daughter of Thomas Owen, gentleman.[4]

She married Richard Mytton, son of Edward Mytton and Anne Corbet.[1][2][3]

Margaret was a beneficiary of the will of her father Thomas Owen, one of the Justices of the Common Pleas, the will made on 09 Dec 1598 and proved on 28 Feb 1598/1599.[7] The will also noted her husband Richard Mytton and their son Thomas.

She and her husband Richard Mytton esq. of Halston were noted in the will of her uncle Robert Owen of Shrewsbury, gent, the will made on 14 Mar 1603/1604 and proved on 18 May 1604.[8]
