Duff Eugene Chadwell, 101, Venice, died Nov. 23, 2004. He was born Nov. 19, 1903, in LaFollett, Tenn., and came to Venice from Stanford, Ky., after retiring from farming. Survivors include daughters Charlotte Young and Carolyn Lancaster; sons Bill, Loyd Paul and Eugene; sisters Flo Matasoff, Cleo Brackett and Leore Puterbaugh; 18 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Services will be in Stanford, where Spurlin Funeral Home in charge. Published in Herald Tribune on December 2, 2004
