Born 19 Sep 1786 Watertown, MA; married 20 May 1810 Boston, MA, Jane McFarlane of Paisley, Scotland; died 27 Sep 1854 on the S. S. "Arctic" with his wife and daughter Mary Foulke Stone. Dry-goods merchant. Those who went down on the "Arctic" are not buried here; their bodies were probably never recovered.
