Eleanor married (1) Samuel Ferguson presumably at Worcester in the early 1720's. They had eight children: 1. Mary born 1727 2. Samuel born 1729 married Margaret Stewart at Blandford on January 4, 1753. 3. Isabel born 1730 married Captain William Knox in Blandford 4. James born 1733 4. Ann born 1735 5. Joan born 1735 (twins) 6. John born at Blandford in 1740. He married Dorothy Hamilton in 1759. 7. Ketavin born 1739 8. John born 1740

Her husband, Samuel died in 1741 and Eleanor married (2) James Baird.

i have found there is a few theories regarding her name.........some have written that she was first the wife of Moses Mitchell .....I have also people claiming that she was the daughter of David Mitchell and Susanna Sherman. Both claims have no primary evidence to go by. I would welcome evidence !
