Biography
George Casner was born about 1697 in Virginia, son of Paul Kaestner (1668–1717).
George married (1) Mary Unknown (15) (born in 1709 in Rockingham Co., VA) in 1725.
Their daughter was Elizabeth M. Casner (1730–1811).
He married (2) Elisabeth Ann (Arets) Streper in 1742. Widow of John Streper of Germantown. [1]
George died in October, 1776 in Whitpain, Montgomery, Pennsylvania, United States, aged 78.
His wife Elizabeth died in 1794. Will states: KASTNER, ELIZABETH. Whitemarsh. September 7, 1778. August 5, 1794. 1.401 Widow of George Kastner. Farm of 15 acres, and 2 stoves to daughter Agnes Dewees, during widowhood. At her death to be sold and equally divided among 12 grandchildren: John, George and William Streeper, Mary Holman, Hannah Piper, Sarah and Lydia Streeper, William, John and Abraham Dewees, Elizabeth and Christian Dewees. To daughter in law Magdalena Streeper, feather bed, bolster, bible and pewter. Rem. of household goods, wearing apparel and 20 pds. in money to daughter Agnes Dewees. Rem. to daughter Agnes Dewees's children: William, John, Abraham, Elizabeth and Christian Dewees. Execs: George Streeper, William Dewees. Wit: Levi Trump, Pat. Monan. [2]
