Their Most Recent Common Ancestor (MRCA) is their second great grandfather Henry Allen Smith MD. Estimated number of generations to MRCA = 3.6, based on sharing 91.7 cM of DNA across 4 segments.
- Paternal relationship is also confirmed by a triangulated group on 23andMe who share a 16.5 cM segment on chromosome 4, consisting of Ben Tyner and Wanda (Hewett) Jewell, his 4th cousin, and Erin Thomley, his 4th cousin. (Wanda and Erin are 4th cousins.) Their most-recent common ancestors are Jimpsey David Raley and Elizabeth UNKNOWN, the 4x great grandparents of both Ben Tyner and Wanda (Hewett) Jewell and 3x great grandparents of Erin Thomley.
