Biography

His will, found in the will Archives, Sampson Co., NC, lists his wife Esther as recipient of his negroes and horses. Executors were his sons William Sessions, Uriah Sessions, and Peter Cromartie (who was a son-in-law). The cursive is difficult to read, but it also lists all of his children.

The other wife listed on some ancestry.com individual trees, Olive Stevenson, is probably a mistake coming from an ancestry.com tree that got re-copied too many times.

I added son William Sessions to this profile because it seems to agree with info I have in my personal file.
