George Frederick (Uncle Fred) Byerly was born in 1880. He was the son of George Byerly and Sarah Miller. The 1880 and 1900 census information shows him living with his parents and siblings in Allen County, Ohio. [1][2]In 1901 he married Bertha "Bertie" Snyder. [3] The 1920 and 1930 census information shows him living with his wife and children in Elkhart County, Indiana, and Huntington County, Indiana. [4][5]With his wife Bertha having passed away in 1933, in 1934 he married a widow by the name of Amanda C. (Snider) Thayer. [6] George passed away in 1948. [7]
