Biography

Thomas Nochols Langlois was born on August 1, 1797 in St. Peter Port, Guernsey, Channel Islands. He was the son of Pierre Langlois and Marguerite Pélagie Brasseur. He married Margaret Lenfesty on October 17, 1824 in St George's Cove, Gaspe, Quebec. He then married Rachel Rose on November 6,1829 in Roseville, Gaspe, Quebec. In 1831 they lived in the fishing settlement of Indian Cove, St George's Cove, Gaspe, Lower Canada (Quebec). They bought 98 acres of land in North Gaspe Bay, Gaspe, Quebec on September 16, 1875 and is buried in Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Toronto.

Langlois-4577 and Langlois-1140 appear to represent the same person because: I created the second profile before I realized that the first profile existed. Now, I would like to fix my mistake.
