According to her obituary Anna was born in Ockelbo parish in 1697. She died in Sörljusne in 1776, at the age of 79.[1] Her parents are given as the soldier Erik Hansson and his wife, Anna Eriksdotter.
According to her obituary Anna came to work in Söderala parish in 1718, and was married to the young farmer Hindrik Hindriksson in 1719. The wedding was actually in November 1720, and at the time she seems to have served in Tönnånger in Skog.[2] They had seven children. Anna Ersdotter was taken to bed 11 July after a bad fall in the entrance to her home and died on the 14th. She was survived by two of her four sons and two of her three daughters.[1]
