Biography

According to Debi Kirk, he traveled in the ship Anderson from Rotterdam to Philadelphia arriving in 1751. The name(s) of his wife(ves) is(are) not known. Debi Kirk, one of the descendants of Peter Wickerham, wrote to me: "George Adam Wickershiem (Wickerham) the emigrant arriving 1751, he eventually dropped George and went by Adam Sr. the research shows his first wife was Barbara 2nd Catherine. Barbara's name was on a deed in 1770. Catherines name is on his will in 1796". It is possible that he had only one wife named was Barbara Catherine.
