Thanks for suggesting the merger of the two profiles for Catherine Gemberling. Done! I kept the approx. birth year of 1740 since you had listed no sources for 1749. If you have a more definitive source for her birth, please edit that field and provide the source citation. Now that you have created a profile for Philip Sr. I can start to add the connections to my friends who are also descended from him. More cousins for you!!

Hi, Janna. If you haven't seen it yet, check out the Gemberling Family Association website. They outline Vergie's paternal lineage back to the immigrant Gemberling ancestor in the 1700s. (We still need to source all of the connections, but it is a good start.) Through his wife, a Wolfensberger, we go back even further - possibly to the Third Crusade!! You and I are cousins!
