Biography
Lucy Davis was born in Warren, Lincoln County (became Knox Co. in 1860), Maine (then part of the New England province of Massachusetts Bay), in November 18, 1767, according to her tombstone. At least one family genealogy mistakenly states she was born Feb. 27, 1769 and has her married to Joseph Snow whereas in fact she married Joseph Snow's son, Benjamin Snow, b: 1765. Lucy Davis' parents are not known at this time. [1]
