Edith Doreen pound met Ernest Goff , had a relationship , when she found out she was with child to Ernest in 1935, being unmarried she was placed into an unwed mothers home till the my father was born, my father never saw his father but was given his name in his later years. i'm not sure Ernest even knew as no one in the family knew Edith had a child out of wedlock.
