William (Lockhart) Lockhart XIth of Lee is Notable.
William (Lockhart) Lockhart XIth of Lee is a member of Clan Lockhart.
William was the eldest son of James Lockhart and Martha Douglas.[1][2]
He married firstly, Margaret, daughter of John Hamilton of Ormiston.[1]
He married second Robina Sewster, daughter of John Sewser of Wistor by Anna, 5th daughter of Robert Cromwell[1] and niece of Oliver Cromwell. They had issue of five sons and two daughters[3] including:
- Cromwell, 12th of Lee, m. 1st daughter of Daniel Harvie, m. 2nd Martha daughter of Sir John Lockhart of Castlehill. d. 1685 w/o issue.[3]
- Richard, 13th of Lee, d. unmarried in 1695.[4]
- John, 14th of Lee, d. 1707 w/o heir[4]
- James, 15th of Lee, m. Dorothy Luchand, had son John[4]
- Robina, m. Archibald Douglas of Forfar[5]
William died on 7 Jun 1675 at Clermont.[1]
