Biography

Rev. Thomas Crowell was born at Barrington, December 22, 1768, the son of Thomas and Sarah (Kenney) Crowell^{[1] [2] [3]}

On December 7, 1790, Thomas married Elizabeth Doane daughter of Thomas Doane and Elizabeth (Myrick) Lewis^{[1] [2] [3]}

Thomas was pastor of the Free Will Baptist church at Barrington many years^{[1] [2]}

Their children were all born at Barrington, including:

1. Thomas, born January 26, 1792, who married Catherine Robinson, daughter of Peter Robinson on January 6, 1814. They lived in Arcadia, Yarmouth County, and Thomas died at Arcadia, October 18, 1867 ;^{[1] [2] [3]}
2. Rebecca, born January 17, 1794; who married James Trefry, son of Joshua Pitman Trefry 2nd, and Elizabeth (Kinney) Trefry, on March 26, 1812. they lived at Yarmouth, and she died at Yarmouth, on August 5, 1841^{[1] [2] [3]}
3. Reliance, born April12, 1796; who married John Emerson Kenney, son of Nathan Kenney, on March 28, 1816; who lived and died at Gilbert Cove, N. S^{[1] [2]}
