Research Notes

  • ANSON PETERS BIBLE: This Bible was printed in 1868 and appears to be the Family Bible of Anson Peters, son of John Peters and Esther Parry. (Anson Peters was married 25 Jan 1858. Since Anson Peters? children's births appear at the bottom of the page this seems to verify that it was Anson's Bible.) It also appears to contain older entries from other Bibles which could be his father's (John Peters) & grandfather's (Samuel Peters) family bibles. (I surmise that Anson purchased a Family Bible and copied the entries from his father's family bible who likewise had copied entries from his father's family bible. This would explain why Samuel Peters? entries appeared first and then John's and then Anson's. It was found in the home of Earl Percy Peters by his daughter Gayel, when she was closing up her father's home and moving him to her home. - Phillip Mintz

Peters-14328 and Peters-6656 appear to represent the same person because: Same birth date. Same death date.

Peters-14328 and Peters-6656 are not ready to be merged because: Not enough data for a decision. Yes, birth and death dates are generally in the same year. Other than that, there is no definitive information to make a decision. Only one profile has a wife and there are no children in common.
