Biography

Jonathan was born 1 May 1746 the son of Jonathan Crowell and Anna Nickerson of Yarmouth, MA,^{[1] [2] [3] [4]}

Circa 1762, he emigrated to Barrington, NS with his family^[4]. He married Rhoda d. Elisha Nickerson, Sr., Apr. 28, 1769^[5], and settled in Argyle.

Second, he married Elsie, daughter of Daniel Nickerson^[4] , and had children including:

1. Jonathan m. Roberts (sister Allen and Weymouth) ^[4]
2. Edward m. Elsie Earl^[4].
3. Elsie, who died unmarried^[4]
