Captain Tippah Rangers Feb 1862, then incorporated into Company A, 34th Infantry at Holly Springs.[2]
Received M.D. degree Jefferson Medical College, Philadelphia PA in 1855. Life long residence, before and after the War, of Ripley Mississippi. Along with his medical practice, was Sheriff, County Treasurer and served in State House of Representatives. His historical home built in 1860 still stands at 205 N. Jackson Street, Ripley MS.[3]
