The earliest known person in Kadavathanikkal family is KUNJAYYAN (?????????) who was the father of KUTTAN. The elder brother of KUTTAN had only one son named KUMARI [?????] who had started Pothamkudilil [?????????????] family in Veliyanad [?????????]. The mother of K A Kumaran was KUNJUPENNU [????????????] hailed from THURTHUVALAYIL [??????????????] family Thirumarayoor which was another family with direct ancestral relationship with kadavathanikkal family. A paternal half brother of Kunjupennu named Mr. KUNJU [??????] had also started family at Pothamkudilil Veliyanadu.
