Biography

Edson Vaughn was enumerated as son of the head of household at First part of thermal - coal mining camp, Election Precinct 32, Jefferson County, Alabama for the April 10, United States Census, 1940. He was noted as born 1937 in Alabama and single as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Grover W Vaughn, wife Vivian E Vaughn, daughter Nezalu D Vaughn, daughter Ruby Nell Vaughn, daughter Mary Etta Vaughn, son Gerald W Vaughn, daughter F Laverne Vaughn, daughter Mavis H Vaughn and son Thomas A Vaughn.^[1]
