Sadie Victoria Tingley was born on July 19, 1883 in Littleton, Aroostook, Maine, United States, daughter of Curtis Herbert Tingley (1852–1924) and Elisabeth Tilley (1855–~1918).^[1]

Sadie (17) married Fred Bean (21) (born about January 7, 1880 in Mapleton, Aroostook; son of Charles Henry Bean and Margaret Jane (Randall) Bean) on May 18, 1901 in Monticello, Aroostook. Their children were:
