Biography

Angharad ferch Dafydd ap Llywelyn married Robert ap Maredudd.^[1] Their son, Evan Wynne, was born in 1435.

Since she was the daughter of Dafydd ap Llywelyn, her correct LNAB should be ferch Dafydd, not Dafydd, in accordance with Wikitree Welsh Naming Protocol

Estimated Dates: The profile's previous birth/death dates (1410/1416) could not be correct for wife of Robert ap Maredudd (b c1378 or, on Wynne-71, 1405-1490). Changed death to "about 1446" (attached profile for son Evan has birth in 1435; duplicated profile for Ieuan ap Robert has birth about 1444; 1416 may have been a mis-reading of or a typo for 1446).

Merged profile (ferch Dafydd ap Llywelyn) had birth year of c1378 (perhaps based on the birth year estimate given in her husband's profile). Birth year of 1410 (from ferch Dafydd-14) initially retained in merge. In Wales at that time, it would be more likely that the wife was younger (frequently much younger) than her husband, and highly unlikely that a woman would have a child in her 50s.
