In the 2 Jan 1784 will of her grandfather Joseph Carroll Sr., she was called Jennet Rachford. In her father's will she was called Jean Jewell, and in her mother's will, Jane Jewell. In her husband's estate papers, she was called Mrs. Jane Jewel.

Where is Joseph Carroll, Sr? did he immigrate to the colonies or remain in Ireland?
