Increase Jackson Family Bible
Some years ago I came across an old bible at an antique show that had been published in 1820.I wasn't able to purchase it, but as an avid family researcher, I was interested in the family records it contained so I copied down as much of the information as I could.Without listing all of it here, I will list some of the earliest names and dates in hope that it will stir some interest that I can respond to directly.
The dealer said that she had obtained it from someone in the state of Washington.A newspaper clipping and a note indicate that it had been in the area of Aberdeen, WA during WWII. No other notes show a location for the family.

Sharon, I found the Bible at an antique show in the possession of an antique Dealer from El Cajon, CA.The name of the shop was "Argust's Antiques".I don't know if they are still in business there or if they even have the Bible for sale.It has been several years since that show ( I can't even remember exactly when it was) so there is no telling where the Bible is now.
I listed most of the key information that I was able to copy from the original in my first posting. Here is more from the same source:

That is all I was able to copy when I found the Bible and most all of the obvious family genealogy material. A newspaper clipping and another note indicated that the Bible had been in Aberdeen, Washington during World War II. Nothing else in the writings gave any indication of the location of the Jacksons when the information was written in the Bible.
I wish you luck in tracking down the Bible, if you are interested in finding it. You may email me if you have any more specific questions, even though, I think I have now recorded everything I have from this source. My email is: jfsea@sprynet.com. Jim Seagraves
