Jacques Noel Hollier -- in Louisiana's Spanish period, recorded as Santiago or Santiago Manuel -- was born in Nantes, Loire-Atlantique, Pays de la Loire, France in 1740.[1]
He married Marianne Tourangen in France c.1774. She died in Opelousas, Louisiana in 1829.

Six known children of the marriage.
He owned a residence on Bourbon Street in New Orleans.[3][4]
He died in New Orleans in 1813 and was buried at the St. Louis Cemetery.[5][6]
Estate papers were filed in Opelousas several years later, on 10 January 1818.[7]
