Ron Tandberg was an Australian political cartoonist who contributed to The Age (Melbourne). In 1983, he won an Australia Walkley award for Best Cartoon. [1] He was to win a Walkley Award on 11 occasions [2] and was a member of the Melbourne Press Club's Victorian Hall of Fame.[3]
Ronald Peter Tandberg was born in Melbourne on the 31st of December, 1943.[4] In 1967, he was an artist, living at 42 Waverley Pde, Pascoe Vale with his parents, John Patrick Tandberg, a mechanic, and Doreen Beatrice Tandberg. [5]
He died from oesophageal cancer on the 8th of January, 2018.[6]
