Biography
I was adopted at 2 months old in 1985 and just recently started getting into genealogy. I have figured a lot but my "Y Line" is the trickiest for me. My oldest ancestor in that line is Elbert Moore born 1896 in Fayette, Alabama and he married Grace Poe. Based on my results from y111 ftDNA test, there was an adoption in the last 300 years where what likely happened is a Moore female and a Harrison, Elliott, or Mullins Male had a son but the male died before it was born so the Moore family took the soon as their own. Would love to figure this out!
