Biography

Unknown Traver died young.

According to information from Olive (Traver) Smith as told to family members, her mother Sarah Hodges died during or as a result of complications during childbirth. Her father John Traver hired someone to look after the baby. Unfortunately the baby only lived a short while after their mother’s death.

I do not know if she ever mentioned if the baby was a boy or a girl.

• Olive (Traver) Smith was my 2x Great Grandmother. She passed on letters and other items to her grandson and my great-uncle Carl Cox. He in turn shared that information and copies of letters with my grandmother Leola (Sharp) Cox and others in the family. I have seen a copy of the original letter Olive's step-grandfather Isaac Pillsbury III wrote to her confirming when her mother, Sarah Hodges was born, her parents Cyrus Hodges and Maria (Swift) Pillsbury were married.Boy-41 15:40, 10 May 2019 (UTC)
