Biography

Edwin was born in 1888. ^[1] Son of Almer McClure and Lizzie Tathwell.

In 1900, Edwin was 12 and living with parents and siblings in Kansas.^[2]

In 1910 he was 21 and living with his parents and five siblings in Kansas. ^[3]

He married Maude Mae Washburn on 29 Oct 1911. ^[4]

From my Grandma's notes they had the following children:
Edwin Almer - born 1913 in Wyoming
Bernice - born 1916 in Wyoming
Dorothea - born 1919 in Wyoming - married Robert Desserault. Had children: Darrell, Diane (adopted)

In 1920 he was living with his wife and 3 young children in Wyoming. ^[7]

In 1930 he was living with his wife and five children (Edwin, Bernice, Dorothea, Harold and Iris) in Wyoming. ^[8]

In 1940 he was living with his wife and two children (Harold and Iris) in Yakima, Washington. ^[9]

In 1950 they were living in Washington. ^[10]

He passed away in 1956 in Toppenish, Yakima, Washington. ^[11][12][13]

Buried in Zillah Cemetery, Zillah, Washington. ^[14] From his granddaughter Shirley Goode: He had just retired and he and Maude Mae were working on refurbishing a house to resell. The cement (small) back porch was “poured” a day early. Grandpa “Ted” fell from a ladder, hit his head and died.
