John was born 18 Feb 1692 in Weymouth, the eldest son of John and Elizabeth Drake Phillips. ^{[1][2] [3]}

John Phillips married Rebecca Hixon in Dorchester on 2 May 1722.^[4]

John Phillips II passed away in Easton on 18 Jan 1758. His widow Rebecca died there 13 Mar 1759.^[5]
