William Loch Weems was born about 1772 at Weems Forest in Calvert County MD, [1], the son of John Weems and Catherine Crompton.
He died in Anne Arundel County MD in 1828. [2]
Marriage
William Loch Weems married Mary Kinsey, the daughter of James Matross Kinsey and Hannah De Cou, Quakers of New Jersey, [3] 31 May 1803 at Burlington NJ. [4] Mary Kinsey's father, James Kinsey, was the Chief Justice of the New Jersey Supreme Court from 1789 until his death in 1802. [5] William Loch Weems and Mary Kinsey were married at St. Mary's Church in Burlington NJ by their brother-in-law, Charles Henry Wharton, who had married both Mary Weems and Ann Kinsey.
