When my father (Wilford Edison Park) researched his ancestors years ago he came up with the lineage posted on our family website at http://parkscrapbook.us/ParkScrapbook/FILES/parkline.htm. A key resource he used was "Genealogy of the Parke Families of Connecticut" by Frank Sylvester Parks, 1906, which is now available online. Page 65 of that book lists 8 children of Silas Park and Sarah Ayer, Amos being the oldest to survive childhood. Amos Park's listing on p. 90 of the book shows 12 children by his 2nd wife, Margaret Moore, including my ancestor Halsey Park.

As shown on our web page at http://parkscrapbook.us/ParkScrapbook/FILES/Gene.htm my father wrote the following: "The great, great grandfather of Wilford E. Park named Amos Park was a physician who practiced in Palmyra, New York. He was twice married and was the father of 17 children. Sometime, probably in 1780, he moved to the Niagara Peninsula area of Ontario, Canada. Wilford E. Park's great grandfather Halsey Park was born in Ontario. He became a school teacher. Wilford E. Park's grandfather, Phillip Bender Park, and father, Watson, both born in Ontario, were farmers in Ontario, Canada."

Our family records show that Silas and Sarah were the parents of Amos Park, b. 1749, my ancestor.

Probably would be best for you to create the profile for Amos, based on credible sourcing of course. There's no better way to work into this 'tree system than by creating profiles. As you create them, they become "yours" to manage. Good luck, & keep going with your family tracings.
