Jeremiah Sanderson was an abolitionist, and advocate for the civil and educational rights of black citizens in the USA.
Jeremiah Burke Sanderson was born about 1821 in New Bedford, Bristol, Massachusetts to Daniel Sanderson and Sarah Burke.
He was the 2nd great grandfather of singer Whitney Houston.
