Biography
Martha Ann Edwards was born on 4 July 1817 in Otisfield, Maine. Her parents were Richard Edwards and Martha (Chadbourn) Edwards[1].
She married John Watson on 2 December 1840 in Gorham. They had four children[2]:
- 1. Mary E., born 9 May 1842; married Daniel W. Davis
- 2. Oliver C., born 7 Apr 1844; married Kate Lewis
- 3. Cornelia A., born 20 Jul 1847; married Frank Files
- 4. Luther D., born 14 Oct 1852; died young
Martha passed away on 23 July 1873 in Gorham[3].
