"I BELIEVE, BUT IT IS NOT PROVEN that John Swett Jr. was married to Mariam Linscott, daughter of Isaac and Mariam Whitter Linscott. There is a bible record for Polly Lynscott who married John Swett jr, son of John Swett in Marrietta, Washington Co., OH around 1809.  [see Image_Parentage of Lewis Morgan Clark] Out of that marriage there was at least one child, Rosamond Swett. this is from a bible record, I believe they also had another daughter, Hester and a son Isaac W. Swett. I need proof of the parents of Isaac W. Swett born 1811 Ames.OH John Swett died between 1830 -1840 [before 1830?] . His name is off the tax records in 1842. Mariam Swett is found on the Ames, Athens Co., OH census 1840 [Should read as 1830; see Image] .
