Biography

Nancy was born about 1765 in North Carolina. She married Samuel F Bittick in 1798.[1] They later traveled and lived in Arkansas and Alabama. They had seven (possible) children. Nancy was widowed when she passed away in 1845 in Alabama. According to records and accounts in several books, she was cared for (listed as "insane") by a guardian[2][3]in her later years[4]and died as a pauper.[5]
